AURORA - Practice for 2026 spring sports and activities may officially begin today for high schools across the state of Colorado.
 
Competition for boys volleyball, boys swimming and diving – both of which started practice last week – girls golf and girls tennis may begin this Thursday, Feb. 26, while the first competition date for girls soccer is Saturday, Feb. 28. Games for baseball, boys and girls lacrosse and track and field is Thursday, March 5.
 
The majority of spring postseason competition will take place throughout the month of May, beginning with the esports state championships on Thursday, April 30 and concluding with the baseball championships on Saturday, May 30. The Colorado High School Activities Association will host championships in esports, boys volleyball, girls tennis (both individual and team), boys swimming and diving, track and field, boys and girls lacrosse, girls soccer, girls golf and baseball throughout the spring.
