AURORA - The 64-team bracket for the 2025 Esports State Championships for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been released by PlayVS. 

Postseason play will begin on today at 4 p.m. with Round 1, while Round 2 is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9. From there, the 16 winners will advance to the in-personal final on Thursday, April 24 at Localhost, where the Round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be played. 

The Round 1 and Round 2 games will be played at home sites, with games taking place at 4 p.m. At Localhost, the Round of 16 games will begin at 9 a.m., with 1.5 hours allotted for each round. The quarterfinals are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., followed by the semifinals at noon and the championship finals at 1:30 p.m.

The Esports State Championships for Mario Kart will also take place at Localhost on April 24. The inaugural unified championship will be played at 10:30 a.m., while the fourth-annual Mario Kart championship will be at approximately 5 p.m.

Trophy and award presentations will take place immediately after each final.
