Wrestling State Championship Information

The Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2025 Wrestling State Championships will take place Feb. 13 through 15 at Ball Arena, in Denver.

PLEASE NOTE: Credentialed media wishing to attend must RSVP ahead of time.
 

What is the schedule of events?

PLEASE NOTE: The stands will be cleared after every session.

  • Session 1 (Thurs., Feb. 13)
    • 4A Girls and 2A/3A Boys (12 mats)
      • Preliminaries through quarterfinals: Noon–4 p.m.
  • Session 2 (Thurs., Feb. 13)
    • 5A Girls and 4A/5A Boys (12 mats)
      • Preliminaries through quarterfinals: 5-9 p.m.
  • Session 3 (Fri., Feb. 14)
    • 4A Girls and 2A/3A Boys (12 mats)
      • Second-Round Consolation immediately following previous rounds, 8:30 a.m–noon
    • 5A Girls and 4A/5A Boys (12 mats)
      • Second-Round Consolation immediately following previous rounds, 12:45 p.m–4 p.m.
  • Session 4 (Fri., Feb. 14)
    • All Classes (12 mats)
      • Semifinals: 6 p.m.
      • Third-Round Consolation beginning immediately as mats open up, 7:15 p.m.
  • Session 5 (Sat., Feb. 15)
    • All Classes (12 mats)
      • Consolation Semifinals: 9 a.m.
      • Fifth Place: Immediately following the previous round.
      • Third Place: Immediately following the previous round.
  • Session 6 (Sat., Feb. 15)
    • All Classes (6 mats)
      • Parade of Champions: 4 p.m.
Will I need tickets to attend?
  • Yes, tickets will be required to attend, and you will need a different ticket for each individual session. You can purchase tickets for each session on Ticketmaster
  • Please note: CHSAA only sells wrestling state championship tickets through Ticketmaster. If you find or purchase tickets second hand through a site outside of Ticketmaster, there may be a markup in price. 

Where can I park?
  • Public parking will be available in the Camry, Tundra, Rav4 and 4Runner lots for $15.

When can I enter Ball Arena?
  • Ball Arena will begin taking tickets for a session one hour before the start of that session.

Where can I find a bracket?
  • Brackets can be found on CHSAANow.com.

How are the mats configured?
  • There are 12 mats for the first five sessions and six mats for session six, the championship round. Mat map.

How should I conduct myself during the state championships?
  • The stands will be cleared at the conclusion of each session. Saving seats or leaving articles behind for future sessions is not allowed.
  • Please only engage in positive cheers.
  • Only cheerleaders may use megaphones.
  • All artificial noisemakers are prohibited.

How did wrestlers qualify the state championships?
  • The top four wrestlers in each weight class advanced from each wrestling regional.

Where can I find results?
Where can I find past team champions?
  • The digital program includes information on past champions, winners and more! Past champions can also be found in the championship archives for boys wrestling and girls wrestling.

Will there be merchandise available to purchase on-site?
  • Souvenir items (t-shirts, sweatshirts, pins, shorts, etc.) will be available for purchase on-site through the Kukulski Brothers. For pre-sale items, call (602-386-3460) or email the Kukulski Brothers.
