AURORA - A full day of action at Randy Penn Stadium in Englewood, saw four teams emerge to reach the semifinals of CHSAA's 5A Boys Soccer State Championship.

And it may not be who many expected.

No. 6 Regis Jesuit and No. 7 Pine Creek will meet in one semifinal -- Regis Jesuit beat No. 3 Northfield 3-1, and Pine Creek defeated defending state champion and No. 2 Cherry Creek 1-0. The longest shot of the field is in the other semifinal, as No. 12 Cherokee Trail kept its postseason run going in a 1-0 win over No. 4 Legacy. No. 1 Ralston Valley fills the Tuesday lineup.

The semfinals are Tuesday, and will be played at the University of Denver's CIBER Field.

All four championship games are scheduled to be played at Weidner Field in Colorado Springs on Saturday, Nov. 15. The 2A final will be at 9 a.m., followed by the 3A final at noon, the 4A final at 3 p.m. and the 5A final at 6 p.m.
