AURORA -- CHSAA's State Football Playoffs kicked off Friday night, with all eight first-round games taking place in both 5A and 4A while 2A (one game), 1A (three games) and 6-Man (one game) also getting started.

The rest of the first round will be completed Saturday in 2A, 1A and 6-Man, while 8-Man will also play a full first round. Meanwhile, the 3A field will be determined Sunday, with that classifications playoffs starting next week.
