AURORA -- CHSAA State Football Playoffs started Friday and included a handful of games from 2A, 1A and 6-Man. The majority of the first-round games in those classes, as well as all of the 8-Man first-round matchups, are scheduled for Saturday.

The state championship games for 2A, 1A, 8-Man and 6-Man will be played at the CSU Thunderbowl in Pueblo on Nov. 28 and 29. The 6-Man game is at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 28, with the 8-Man game to follow at 5 p.m. On Nov. 29, the 1A championship is at 1:30 p.m., with the 2A title contest set for 5 p.m.
