This marks the fourth year of the Boys Tennis Dual Team State Championships, as the tournament structure changed for the 2022 season. Previously, team points were calculated at the Boys Tennis Individual State Championships to determine the team state champion. Cherry Creek has won all three 5A dual team titles to stretch its win streak to five-straight team titles and a state record 47 state championships in boys tennis. In 2022, the Bruins knocked off Valor Christian, 5-2, and then defeated Regis Jesuit, 4-1, in 2023 and 4-3 in 2024.

In 4A, Kent Denver has won four-straight team titles, tying with Cheyenne Mountain in 2021 before capturing each of the dual team titles; as it swept Cheyenne Mountain, 7-0, in 2022 and then knocked off Colorado Academy, 4-0, in 2023 and 4-2 in 2024.

Cherry Creek advanced to the championship defeating No. 3 Valor Christian, 6-1, in the semifinals. The Bruins also logged wins over No. 15 Fort Collins, 7-0, and No. 7 Fairview, 6-1, in the first round and quarterfinal round, respectively.

Regis Jesuit will look to win its first-ever dual team state championship and add to its five boys tennis state titles in program history after sweeping its way to the finals. The Raiders swept No. 16 Pine Creek in the first round, No. 8 Lakewood in the quarterfinals and most recently, No. 5 Fossil Ridge in the semifinals. Regis Jesuit’s most recent boys tennis state championship came in 2019 when it beat Cherry Creek in back-to-back years (2018 and 2019).

Kent Denver - winners of all three previous dual team tournaments - will be making its fourth-straight appearce in the dual team tournament after defeating No. 4 D'Evelyn, 5-2, in the semifinals. The Sun Devils' first two matches were shutouts, as it knocked off No. 16 Niwot in the first round, 7-0, and No. 7 Discovery Canyon in the quarterfinals.

Colorado Academy, the runners up the last two years, return to the championship match after sweeping No. 3 Peak to Peak in the semifinals, No. 7 George Washington in the quarterfinals and No. 15 Thomas Jefferson in the first round. The Mustangs are looking for their second-ever boys tennis state championship, as they captured their lone state title in 2018.
