The Colorado High School Activities Association will host its 2024 boys swimming and diving state championships on Thursday through Saturday, May 9-11 at the Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center in Thornton.
The 4A State Championships will take place on Thursday and Friday, with the 5A State Championships being contested on Friday and Saturday.

Do I need to buy a ticket to enter?
Yes. Tickets are $15 for adults per day and are non-transferable. Students and Seniors Day Pass are $12. Mobile tickets will be available to purchase online ONLY via
GoFan. No hard tickets will be available to purchase at the site. It's encouraged that you purchase tickets in advance to ensure the quickest entry into the venue.
NOTE: Each ticket is only valid for attendance to one day of the event. Make sure you purchase the ticket that corresponds to the day(s) you're planning to attend.
If I can't make it to the venue, can I watch it live?
Yes.
The NFHS Network will stream both sessions on all three days.
Where can I find results?
Live results will be available for all swimming events (both preliminaries and finals).
What is the order of events?
Diving will be an 11-dive competition and all diving events will take place during the diving sessions noted above.
Swimming events will be contested in the order below, during both prelims and finals:

How is a team determined the state champion?
The top-20 places will be scored at the state meet with the team earning the most points being named the state champion.

Will there be an award ceremony?
Yes, medals will be given to the top-10 finishers in each individual event with a team championship trophy being awarded to the first-place team and runner-up team in both classifications.
Where can I park?
Free parking will be available in the VMAC parking lot. If you're unable to find a spot in the VMAC parking lot, overflow parking will be available at Trail Winds
Open Spaces, as shown on the map below.
Are there any restrictions to what I can bring into the VMAC?
Yes. All artificial noisemakers are prohibited. This includes cowbells, drums, whistles, horns, plastic clackers, thunder sticks, etc. In addition, no balloons are allowed on the deck or in the stands.
No paper banners are allowed, either. Each school is allowed to have one cloth or vinyl banner that has been sanctioned by the site director, and it cannot feature negative language or block the view of others.
Can I save seats to create a team spectator area?
No, spectators are not permitted to save multiple seats as a “team spectator” area. Taping or roping any seating area, marking with signs, blankets or other methods will not be tolerated and will be removed from the spectator section. Items remove by site staff will be turned in to the lost and found area.
Who is allowed to be on the pool deck?
Only qualified participants and coaches with a stamp or deck pass are allowed on the deck. At no time will non-qualifying team members, friends or family be allowed on deck. This includes during the championship awards ceremony.
