The Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2024 Boys Lacrosse State Championships will be played on Monday, May 20 at University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium, in Denver. The 4A championship game will be played at 5 p.m. with the 5A championship following at 7:30 p.m.

What is the schedule for CHSAA's 2024 Boys Lacrosse State Championships?

• On Monday, May 20, the 4A state championship final will be played at 5 p.m., followed by the 5A state championship final at 7:30 p.m. 
• 4A semifinal games will be played on Saturday, May 18, at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., with the 5A semifinals following at 3 and 5:30 p.m. The semifinals will also be played at University of Denver’s Peter Barton Stadium, in Denver.

What time will the venue open to the public?

• The venue will open to the public one hour before the start of each game.
• Please note the University of Denver's Clear Bag Policy and list of Prohibited Items. 

Where can the public park?

• For the state championships at Denver University's Peter Barton Stadium, fan parking will be available in Lots C, L, and 108 for $10.

Do I need to buy a ticket to enter?

• Yes. Tickets will be available for purchase for the state championship games, and semifinals exclusively on GoFan.

Are there any items I won't be allowed to bring into Peter Barton Stadium?

• Yes. The University of Denver has a Clear Bag Policy and list of Prohibited Items for Peter Barton Stadium.

How should fans conduct themselves during the event?

• Please only engage in positive cheers.
• Noisemakers are prohibited at the state tournament.

What if I can't attend the game, can I still watch it?

• Yes, the 4A and 5A finals will be streamed live on the NFHS Network. 

Where can I find results from previous rounds?

• Results and updated brackets will be available on CHSAANow.com.

Where can I find past champions or team winners?

• The digital program includes information on past champions, winners and more! Past champions can also be found in the championship archives.

What happens if the game is tied at the end of regulation?

• If the score is tied at the end of regulation, there will be a two-minute intermission, followed by a four-minute sudden-victory period. The two teams will continue to play four-minute sudden-victory periods, separated by two-minute intermissions, until a goal is scored.

Will there be a trophy presentation?

• The champion teams and runner-up teams in each classification will each receive a trophy at the conclusion of each championship game at midfield.
• Students and fans are not allowed to join their team on the field during the award ceremony.

Will there be merchandise available to purchase on-site?
