The Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2024 Boys and Girls Basketball State Championships will run March 7-9 at four different venues.

• The 1A Great 8, Final Four and State Championship games will be played at the University of Northern Colorado's Bank of Colorado Arena, in Greeley.
• The 2A Great 8, Final Four and State Championship games will be played at Blue Arena, in Loveland.
• The 3A Great 8, Final Four and State Championship games will be played at the University of Denver's Hamilton Gym, in Denver.
• The 4A, 5A and 6A Final Four and State Championship games will be played at the Denver Coliseum, in Denver.
  • The 4A, 5A and 6A Great 8 will be played at the Denver Coliseum Feb. 28-March 2. Here's the Great 8 schedule.  

What time will the venue open?

• All of the host venues will open to the public one hour before tip-off of the first game.

 

How will I know when a certain team is competing?

• Results and updated brackets will be available on CHSAANow.com.
• A general schedule for the Final Fours and State Championship games for all classifications can be found below, or on the Postseason Info page for the classification in question, while game times are also listed on the girls brackets or boys brackets for each individual classification.
• PLEASE NOTE: The 1A State Championship schedule is subject to change due to religious accommodation. More information on those potential changes is available on the Posteason Info page.

Where can I find results?

• Results and updated brackets will be available on CHSAANow.com.

Will I need a ticket to attend?

• Yes. You will need a ticket to attend each individual game of the tournaments that you are planning to attend.
  • Tickets for 1A and 3A are available on GoFan.
  • Tickets for 2A are available on AXS.
  • Tickets for 4A, 5A and 6A are available on AXS.

Where can the public park?

• 1A: Free parking will be available at University of Colorado's Bank of Colorado Arena.
• 2A: Parking will be available for purchase at Blue Arena for $5 per day.
  • Please note: credit cards are the only acceptapable form of payment for parking
  • You can prepay for parking or pay on onsite by using the QR codes or kiosks after you park.
• 3A: Parking will be available for purchase on the University of Denver's campus. Pricing will change based on the lot or garage in question.
• 4A, 5A and 6A: Parking will be available for purchase at the Denver Coliseum. Parking will cost $15 per day if purchased in person, or $12.50 per day if bought in advance online, via AXS. 

How should fans conduct themselves during the event?

• PLEASE NOTE: The venues and vendors will only be accepting credit card and debit cards for transactions. Cash will not be accepted.
• Please only engage in positive cheers.
• Only cheerleaders may use megaphones
• All artificial noisemakers are prohibited
• The 2A Great 8, Final Four and State Championship games played at Blue Arena will have a clear bag policy for those attending. Be sure to review this FAQ - Know Before You Go! flyer and view parking information in advance. Also, please note that Blue Arena has a clear bag policy.
• The University of Denver also has a Clear Bag Policy and list of prohibited items.  

Where can I find past champions or team winners/Is there a championship archive?

• The digital program includes information on past champions, winners and more! Past champions can also be found in the championship archives for boys basketball and girls basketball. 

Will there be a trophy presentation?

• Yes, there will be a trophy presentation immediately following the championship game in each classification.

Will there be merchandise available to purchase on-site?

• Souvenir items (t-shirts, sweatshirts, pins, shorts, etc.) will be available for purchase on-site through the Kukulski Brothers. For pre-sale items, call (602-386-3460) or email the Kukulski Brothers.
