AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association's 5A Boys Basketball Tournament heated up on Saturday, with all 16 remaining playoff teams playing their second-round game.

Winners will advance to the Great 8 at the Denver Coliseum. All Great 8 games will be played on March 1.

Here are the results from Saturday’s second-round games:

• No. 1 Northfield vs. No. 16 Longmont: Northfield wins, 60-25 (will advance to play the winner of Mead).
• No. 2 Vista PEAK Prep vs. No. 15 Discovery Canyon: Vista PEAK Prep wins, 57-34 (will advance to play Ponderosa).
• No. 3 Windsor vs. No. 14 Thomas Jefferson: Windsor wins, 65-49 (will advance to play Lewis-Palmer).
• No. 4 Mesa Ridge vs. No. 13 Green Mountain: Mesa Ridge wins, 65-49 (will advance to play Dakota Ridge).
• No. 5 Silver Creek vs. No. 12 Dakota Ridge: Dakota Ridge wins, 75-61 (winner will advance to play Mesa Ridge).
• No. 6 Lewis-Palmer vs. No. 11 Grand Junction: Lewis-Palmer wins, 70-57 (will advance to play Windsor).
• No. 7 Ponderosa vs. No. 10 Montrose: Ponderosa wins, 77-57 (will advance to play Vista PEAK Prep).
• No. 8 Mead vs. No. 9 Palmer: Mead wins, 78-61 (will advance to play Northfield).
