AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association's 4A Ice Hockey Tournament started with a first-round game on Thursday and Saturday night, to set up the eight-team quarterfinals.

Winners advanced to the quarterfinals, which will be hosted by the higher-seeded team and played on Feb. 27 and 28.

• Teams with a first-round bye -- No. 1 Glenwood Springs, No. 2 Steamboat Springs, No. 3 Liberty, No. 4 Durango, No. 5 Cheyenne Mountain, No. 6 Crested Butte.
• No. 7 Colorado Academy vs. No. 10 Summit: Summit wins, 5-2 (will advance to play Steamboat Springs).
• No. 8 Battle Mountain vs. No. 9 Palmer: Battle Mountain wins, 7-5 (winner will advance to play Glenwood Springs).
