6A Girls Basketball: First Round Scores

AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association's 6A Girls Basketball Tournament tipped off Tuesday night, with all 32 playoff teams playing their first-round game.

Winners will advance to the second round. All second-round games will be played on Feb. 23.
 
  • No. 1 Cherokee Trail vs. No. 32 Fountain-Fort Carson: Cherokee Trail wins, 69-28 (will advance to play Highlands Ranch).
  • No. 2 Cherry Creek vs. No. 31 Rangeview: Cherry Creek wins, 61-29 (will advance to play Arapahoe).
  • No. 3 Legend vs. No. 30 Arvada West: Legend wins, 59-38 (will advance to play Doherty).
  • No. 4 Valor Christian vs. No. 29 Poudre: Valor Christian wins, 74-30 (will advance to play ThunderRidge).
  • No. 5 Pine Creek vs. No. 28 Fossil Ridge: Pine Creek wins, 41-32 (will advance to play Rock Canyon).
  • No. 6 Horizon vs. No. 27 Mountain Vista: Horizon wins, 62-50 (will advance to play Ralston Valley).
  • No. 7 Regis Jesuit vs. No. 26 Eaglecrest: Regis Jesuit wins, 53-34 (will advance to play Denver East).
