COLORADO SPRINGS - Cheyenne Mountain's Aiden Le Roux got the day started fast at the 2024 Cross Country State Championships, setting a new all-classification record by winning the 4A race in 15:02.1 at Norris Penrose Event Center. Mountain Vista's Benjamin Anderson then ended the day with a new 5A classification course record, winning in 15:10.4.
Throughout the day, all four team champions were crowned, including Thompson Valley - which won its first-ever cross country state title - and Niwot - which won the state title in its first year competing in 5A.
