AURORA - With the CSU Pueblo football team winning the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular season and earning the No. 1 overall super regional seed, the team is scheduled to host a playoff game at the ThunderBowl on Saturday, Nov. 30. Therefore, the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2024 Football State Championship games for 6-man, 8-man, Class 1A and Class 2A will move to the Dutch Clark Stadium in Pueblo.

Game dates and times for all four championship games will remain the same, just the venue will change. The 6-man title game will be played on Friday, Nov. 29 at noon at Dutch Clark Stadium, and will be followed by the 8-man game at 5 p.m. On Saturday, Nov. 30, the 1A championship game will kick off at noon, followed by the 2A game at 5 p.m.

“We would like to congratulate the CSU Pueblo football team on a tremendous season, for winning the RMAC regular season championship, and for having the honor of playing as the No. 1 super regional seed,” said CHSAA Assistant Commissioner John Sullivan, who oversees football. “CSU-Pueblo has been a fantastic host for us over the years, and I have no doubt that the Dutch Clark Stadium will provide the same great state championship atmosphere and experience for our athletes, coaches and fans that the ThunderBowl has."
