AURORA - Overland and Roosevelt won the Overland Regional Gymnastics Championships Thursday night at Overland High School. With a team score of 181.325, Overland topped the 5A leaderboard, while Roosevelt captured the 4A title with a team score of 174.350.

Overland captured the 5A regional championship with a score of 181.325, while Pomona took second (177.475), Cherry Creek High School was third (170.350), Heritage fourth (168.600) and Rock Canyon was fifth (162.950).
Individually, Overland's Ainsley Renner won gold on the all-around, finishing with a score of 36.825. Pomona's Addy Brodie took second (36.150), while Cherry Creek's Lauren Becker was third (35.925), Pomona's Averie Hull was fourth (35.575) and Rock Canyon's Callista Larson was fifth (34.900).
Renner finished in the top-five of three individual events, taking second on floor (9.550) tying for second on beam (9.250) and taking third on vault (9.25). Meanwhile, Brodie won the floor exercise with a score of 9.650, Overland's Audrey Cox was the bars champion (9.18), Pomona's Lauren Murphy was the gold medalist on beam (9.425) and Rock Canyon's Callista Larson won vault (9.58).
On floor, Heritage's Abby Nichols took third (9.525), and was followed by Overland's Maia Howell (9.350) and Ryann Walline (9.300).
In addition to winning floor and finishing runner-up in the individual all-around, Brodie also took second to Cox on bars, finishing with a score of 9.13. Overland's Katie Hofer took third on bars (9.03), while Hull finished fourth (8.95) and Overland's Abby Mess was fifth (8.85).
Hull added to her top-five finishes with a second-place finish on beam. She accumulated a score of 9.250, matching Renner's. Howell and Becker tied for fourth on beam, with matching scores of 9.175.
On vault, Pomona's Kelle (Juju) Hickam took second with a score of 9.28, while Becker was fourth (9.23) and Overland's Ali Padgett was fifth with 9.15 points.
4A RECAP
Roosevelt captured the 4A team title with a score of 174.350. Evergreen finished second with a score of 173.225, while Northfield took third with a score of 165.250. Fort Morgan came in fourth (158.000) and Denver South was fifth (154.000).
Roosevelt's Alea Piddington finished top-two in three individual events to win the individual all-around title with 36.100 points. She also won the vault with 9.35 points and finished second on bars (9.03) and tied for second on floor (9.35).
Evergreen's Alivia Martin took second in the individual all-around, earning a score of 35.375. Fort Morgan's Michelle Headley was right behind Martin, taking third with 35.275 points, while Roosevelt's Paige Garguilo was fourth (34.950) and Northfield's Ocean Pierce was fifth at 34.800.
Other individual champions include Evergreen's Seeley Beecher, who won bars with a score of 9.40, teammate Payton Sullivan, who won beam with a score of 8.975, and Makaylee Meyer who led Roosevelt to a top-four sweep on the floor.
Meyer won the floor exercise with a score of 9.38, while teammates Piddington and Paige Garguilo tied for second (9.35) and teammate Liviana White took fourth with a score of 9.20. Evergreen's Martin rounded out the top five with a score of 9.15.
On beam, Evergreen swept the top four finishers, as teammates Meghan Diaz Torba and Ailish Ocasek tied for second to fellow teammate Sullivan, as the duo claimed matching scores of 8.800. Martin, a fourth Cougar, finished fourth with a score of 8.775, while Fort Morgan's Michelle Headley was fifth with a score of 8.725.
Headley also took second on vault (9.30) and fourth on bars (8.58). In third place on vault was Northfield's Pierce (9.23), while Evergreen's Reese Kormylo took fourth (9.10) and teammate Martin was fifth with a score of 9.08.
Third on bars went to Evergreen's Keara Palaia (8.60), while classmate Sophie Ramirez took ffith with a score of 8.50.
