How do teams qualify for the state championships?
The top 16 teams (24 in 4A and 5A) in the classification based on the CHSAA Selection and Seeding Index will qualify for the postseason bracket. Each conference champion will automatically be placed on the playoff bracket. Conference champions are determined by the conference Bylaws or policies.
