AURORA - The 2023 Colorado State High School Activities Association will host the 2023 Fall Esports State Championship on Monday, Dec. 4 at Localhost, in Lakewood. 

Rocket League will be played first on Dec. 4 with the quarterfinal rounds beginning at 10 a.m. Semifinals will start at noon and the final will start at 2 p.m. A trophy presentation will take place immediately after the final. 

League of Legends will follow with semifinals beginning at 3 p.m. The final is scheduled to start at 7 p.m., with the trophy presentation taking placing immediately after the final. 
 
How do teams qualify for the state championships?
The number of teams that qualify for the playoffs is based on the total number of teams enrolled in a particular league. For this year, the Rocket League playoff bracket will consist of the top 32 teams, while League of Legends will be a top-16 bracket. 
 
Where are the postseason games played?
The first two rounds of the bracket are played virtually with the top-16 remaining teams in Rocket League and the top-eight remaining teams in League of Legends securing a spot to compete in person for the state championship. 
 
Where is the state championship hosted?
The 2023 State Championships will be hosted at Localhost, in Lakewood, on Monday, Dec. 4. 
 
Where can I find results?
The Rocket League bracket and League of Legends brackets on PlayVS will be updated with winners following each round of the playoffs. 
 
How can I watch the games?
You can watch the final matches in person at Localhost or watch live on Twitch.
 
Do I need to buy a ticket?

The digital program includes information on past champions, winners and more! Past champions can also be found in the championship archive.
 
Will there be a trophy presentation?
Yes, there will be a trophy presented to the champions and runner-up following the championship game for both Rocket League and League of Legends.
