2023 Colorado high school baseball state tournaments: Live scores, brackets, streaming and ticket information

The 3A baseball championship game(s) between Eaton and University was put into a weather delay in the second inning on Saturday, with University up 2-1 on Eaton. The game has been rescheduled for Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Butch Butler Field in Greeley. Tickets purchased digitally will remain valid for Sunday's contest(s).


AURORA - The 2023 Colorado high school baseball postseason fields are down to two teams in 2A and four teams in classes 3A, 4A and 5A.

Games will be played Friday and Saturday, June 2-3, with all four state champions being crowned at various sites on Saturday.

All games will be streamed live on NFHS Network.

How do I know who is still playing?

Read the preview for the 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A state championships. The 1A champion has already been decided, as Haxtun claimed its first title in school history on May 19. 

What time are the games?

In the 3A, 4A and 5A tournament, there will be two games on Friday, June 2 to determine who will play in the championship game(s) on Saturday, June 3. Championship games in all four classifications will be played on Saturday. Tournament schedules are below:

Where can I find state tournament brackets?

Brackets for each classification are available here. Note that the Class 1A tournament has already been completed.

What are the tournament formats?

The brackets in classes 3A, 4A and 5A are a double-elimination format, while 2A is single elimination. Teams qualified from regional rounds.

When will games be played?

Games are being played over two weekends, with the first two rounds of the 3A, 4A and 5A tournaments on May 26-27, and the final two rounds on June 2-3.

In 2A, the quarterfinal round is May 26, and semifinals are May 27. The championship game is set for June 3 at 11 a.m.

Where are the tournaments being held?

The double-elimination classifications (3A, 4A, 5A) were at two sites for the first weekend (May 26-27), and will be at one site for the second weekend (June 2-3). All games in 2A are at CSU-Pueblo's Rawlings Field.

Here are the sites for each classification:

  • Class 5A: First weekend: Gold Crown All-Star Park (Site 1) and All-City Stadium (Site 2). Second weekend: Gold Crown All-Star Park in Lakewood.
  • Class 4A: First weekend: Cheyenne Mountain HS (Site 1) and UCCS (Site 2). Second weekend: UCHealth Park (Vibes Stadium) in Colorado Springs on Friday and CSU-Pueblo's Rawlings Field in Pueblo on Saturday.
  • Class 3A: First weekend: Butch Butler Field (Site 1) and University HS (Site 2). Second weekend: Butch Butler Field in Greeley.
  • Class 2A: All games at CSU-Pueblo's Rawlings Field in Pueblo.

Tickets for all games are available on GoFan. Please note that all tickets are digital and no cash sales will be accepted at the gate. It is highly recommended to purchase tickets in advance to avoid lines on gameday.

The brackets will be updated with final scores each day. The CHSAA scoreboard will also have results from each contest.
