In the last semifinal 5A football game, top seed Cherry Creek came back from down 14-7 to beat No. 5 Ralston Valley 21-14. The win continues the pursuit of their fifth-straight football state championship and 14th overall.

Friday Results

The first of two 5A football semifinal games was played on Friday night, as No. 2 seed Columbine kept their undefeated season alive by defeating No. 14 seed Chatfield 35-16. Through three quarters, it was a tight 14-10 contest, but the Rebels pulled away in the fourth quarter, outscoring Chatfield 21-6 in the final period.
