5A Football: Quarterfinal Playoff Results

AURORA – The quarterfinal round of the Colorado High School Activities Association’s 5A Football Playoffs for the 2023 State Championships has been completed. Live scores for next round can be found on MaxPreps and select games will be streamed on the NFHS network.

No. 5 Ralston Valley was unaffected by their road trip down to No. 4 Pine Creek, winning the quarterfinal game, 28-3, to advance, where they’ll play the four-time defending state champs, No. 1 Cherry Creek. The Bruins advanced by defeating the No. 8 Mountain Vista Golden Eagles, 51-24.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 Columbine bounced back from a 3-0 halftime deficet to defeat No. 10 Legend, 21-3. Their semifinal opponent will be No. 14 Chatfield. The Chargers won their their second road playoff game, 37-28, over No. 11 Grandview.
