Saturday Results

The matchup CHSAA's 2023 2A Football State Championship Game is set, as No. 1 Delta and No. 3 Rifle won their semifinal matchups on Saturday. Delta punched their ticket by defeating No. 12 Moffat County, 28-10, behind a huge 21-3 first half. Meanwhile, Rifle needed a third quarter touchdown to pull away from No. 15 Eaton, ultimately winning 24-15.

Delta will be pursuing the second football state championship in school history, and the first since 1960, while Rifle will be looking to win their second football state championship in three seasons, and their fifth overall.
