Spring sports kick off with practice in all sports

AURORA — The 2020 spring sports season is underway on Monday with the beginning of practice in all nine sports.

Starting practice are baseball, girls golf, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, girls soccer, boys swimming, girls tennis, and boys and girls track and field.

Each can begin competition are varied dates. Girl golf and girls tennis may begin scrimmages and competitions on Thursday.

Baseball, lacrosse, soccer, swimming and track can scrimmage on Saturday, and begin competition next Thursday, March 12.

Each will have their regular seasons in March, April and into May. The first spring championship is girls tennis from May 14-16. Baseball will conclude the spring and 2019-20 season with its 3A, 4A and 5A championships on June 5-6.
