Truly a pioneer in women’s sports, Ruby Miller started the Adams City High School Athletic Association and nurtured it into full competition in the Skyline League. Miller’s success at Adams City was so profound that many schools modeled their girls’ athletic and physical education programs after it. Much of her success came before girls athletics were a part of CHSAA, so her efforts were instrumental in bringing girls athletics to the Association
