Earl ReumEarl Reum is one of the nation's most recognized experts in the area of leadership training and motivation. As chairman of the CHSAA Student Council Committee, Dr. Reum has guided the Colorado activity to one of the nation's finest and a model for numerous other states.
Reum Ihas served as director of the summer leadership conference, (developed the leadership text used! by many states, including Colorado, and has spoken to over one million students nationwide.
"The key to helping students is all kinds of activities. The CHSAA has an incredible scope of activities which teach important skills. The lifetime skills are those learned from athletics, competitive music, debate and student council," Reum said.
His selfless contributions to the young people in the state are reinforced each year as his speaking schedule is constantly expanding. Yet, he always makes room in his schedule for the CHSAA and its students.
The list of honors for Earl Reum is lengthy and includes NASSP Hall of Fame, Freedom Foundation Educator of the Year (1982), Key Club International Speaker of the Year 11 times, National Kiwanis Convention Keynote Speaker (1989), National Sertoma Convention Keynote Speaker (1989). He served as President in every school attended from grade school through college.
