Coal Ridge High School and Rifle High School are excited to host the Western Slope Basketball Showdown, a co-hosted varsity basketball tournament featuring 8 varsity boys teams and 8 varsity girls teams. We were FULL, but due to a recent team withdrawal, we now have ONE BOYS SPOT AVAILABLE for the 2026 tournament! Tournament Details Dates: December 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2026
2027 Dates: December 2nd, 3rd & 4th
Format: True bracketed tournament
Games: Guaranteed 3 games
Locations: Coal Ridge High School & Rifle High School
Entry Fee: $300 per team The Western Slope Basketball Showdown is designed to provide strong early-season competition in a well-organized tournament atmosphere and a great experience for athletes, coaches and fans. With only ONE boys spot available, we expect to fill the opening quickly. If your program is interested in joining the field, please reply to this email as soon as possible to reserve the spot.
