About CHSAA classifications

During each two-year cycle, school programs are classified into divisions based on enrollment and other factors. Enrollment data is collected and verified, schools are placed into appropriate classes, and alignments remain in effect for two years.

The classification process is governed by Article 15 of the CHSAA Bylaws. Individual member school profiles also include sport-by-sport alignment for each school.
