Dominic received his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from the University of Colorado and his master’s degree in athletic training from Indiana University. Dominic also has a master’s degree in educational administration from Grand Canyon University. Dominic is nationally certified in athletic training and is also licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Colorado.
Dominic has sports medicine experience in all levels of athletics. He has been a high school science teacher for 30 years and retired from teaching in 2023. He has over 38 years of experience as a high school athletic trainer and continues to serve high school athletes as he is employed by Children’s Hospital of Colorado and is the Licensed Athletic Trainer at Alameda High School.
He serves on several sports medicine and athletic training committees at the national, regional and state level. He is a member of the Colorado Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Fame. He has a daughter, Mikala and a Son, Matthew. He lives in Lakewood with his wife Michelle, who is also a high school teacher and a coach.
