Dirk Pedersen is the Athletic Director at Limon High School, where he is in his 32nd year in education and his 28th year serving the Limon community. He has led the athletic program as Athletic Director for the past 16 years and has also served as the Head Boys Basketball Coach for 21 years.

Dirk is a proud graduate of Lake County High School in Leadville, Colorado, where his passion for education and athletics began. He has been married to his wife, Sandi, for 22 years; she teaches 4th and 5th grade writing. Together they have two children, Addison, a high school senior, and Owen, an eighth grader.

Outside of school, Dirk enjoys spending time with his family, traveling to the mountains during the summer, and playing as much golf as possible.
