Regis Jesuit's Fran Belibi becomes first Colorado girl to dunk in a game

Sophomore Fran Belibi dunked in Regis Jesuit's win over Grand Junction on Friday night. It is believed to be the first time a girl has dunked in a Colorado high school basketball game.

The Raiders won the game, 78-23, to improve to 4-3 this season.

Belibi, who is 15, is averaging a team-best 18.0 points, 7.6 rebounds and 3.4 blocks per game this season.

She also plays tennis, and placed third at No. 3 doubles with teammate Mackenzy Pedrie at the Class 5A state tennis championships last spring.

The play was featured on SportsCenter as the No. 1 play of Friday night.
