AURORA - The championship matchups are set for all three classifications of the 2026 Girls Tennis Individual State Championships.
The 3A and 4A finals will be played alongside the third-place matches at Memorial Park in Colorado Springs (3A) and Pueblo City Park in Pueblo (4A) beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday. At Denver Tennis Park, the 5A tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the third-place matches, followed by the championship finals at 10 a.m.
Individuals qualified for the state tournament bracket through their performances at regionals. Please note, the individual state championships are different than the
dual team state championships, which will be hosted at Denver Tennis Park on Tuesday, May 12, for all three classifications.

5A Championships
Legacy freshman Lynnsey Lu advanced to the finals at
No. 1 singles in her first state championship appearance, and will take on two-time state champion Caroline Daugherty, a senior from Valor Christian. At
No. 2 singles, Ralston Valley's Anna Curran will face Rock Canyon's Isabella Robison.
The
No. 3 singles and
No. 1 doubles matches will be a preview of Tuesday's Dual Team State Championship, as Ralston Valley's Scarlett Lutz will take on Cherry Creek's Lizzie Harbaugh at No. 3 singles, while Ralston Valley's
No. 1 doubles team of Mataya Farling and Harlowe Lutz will face Cherry Creek's Karissa Manley and Elena Sepesi.
That won't be Cherry Creek's only change to win a doubles title, as the Bruins advanced all four doubles lines to the finals. In
No. 2 doubles, Cherry Creek's Zoe Hochstadt and Ashley Geoghegan will meet Valor Christian's Anna Schouten and Reese Bieser, while Creek's
No. 3 doubles team of Chagajee Colburn and Anushka Laxminarayan will face Ralston Valley's Kate Decker and Sophia Baig.
At
No. 4 doubles, Cherry Creek's Dylan Milo and Riley Farber will take the court with Rock Canyon's Zoe Katsoulas and Reagan O'Neill.
Overall, five schools advanced a line to the finals, with Cherry Creek advancing five. Ralston Valley advanced four lines, while Rock Canyon and Valor Christian each have two finals matches tomorrow, and Legacy advanced line.

No. 1 singles, Cheyenne Mountain senior Rose Katen will take on Windsor freshman Aristea Fulgenzi, while classmate Alyssa Sadri will face Kent Denver junior Nora Rapp at
No. 2 singles.
In
No. 3 singles, Sophie Zhou, a senior from Cheyenne Mountain, will meet Grand Junction sophomore Kendra Tooker.
The
No. 1 doubles team of Addie Aragon and Jane Roth, from Mullen, will look to take down Cheyenne Mountain's Saffron Heroldt and Mary Koury, as the
No. 2 doubles team of Arwen Liu and Sofia Begal from Kent Denver will meet Cheyenne Mountain's Emma Varnum and Sienna Haubert. At
No. 3 doubles, the lone line without Cheyenne Mountain, Air Academy's Kinley Kilcoyne and Harper Young will face Kent Denver's Arwen Liu and Sofia Begal.
Finally, at
No. 4 doubles, Niwot's Amy Calderon and Hazel Awsumb will play Cheyenne Mountin's Erica Leveille.
In addition to Cheyenne Mountain, Kent Denver advanced three lines to the finals, while Air Academy, Grand Junction, Mullen, Niwot and Windsor all advanced one.

In 3A, no school has more than three representatives in the finals, and a total of seven schools are represented.
In No. 1 singles, the returning state champion in No. 2 singles -- Alexa Branch of Vail Christian -- will face Colorado Academy junior Mira Leon. Both Vail Christian and Colorado Academy have three playing in finals. Leon topped JoAnna Carter of Severance 6-0, 6-1 in the semifinals, while Branch outlasted Kylee Mayes of Resurrection Christian 7-5, 6-4.
In No. 2 singles, Shannon Schmidt of Prospect Ridge Academy plays Josephine Carter of Severance for the championship, while at
No. 3 singles freshman Annika Bhandari of Colorado Academy plays Severance senior Myla Moore.
Eaton has two doubles tandems trying for titles: Madi Smith/Trin Salberg play Colorado Academy's Elise Yang/Sheena Wu at
No. 1 doubles, while Aya Kinoshita/Evelyn South play Vail Christian's Camden Allen/Iris Blanch at
No. 2 doubles.
D'Evelyn also has has two doubles teams in the finals: Nisha Gupta/Sophia Do play Vail Christian's Sabrina Nabonsal/Paige Asbury at
No. 3 doubles (Vail Christian also has two doubles teams in the finals), while at
No. 4 doubles, the Leidens -- Angela and Julia -- play the St. Mary's Academy team of Sorenna Cooper/Olivia Babbitt.
