AURORA - The Colorado High School Activities Association has released the brackets for the 2026 Girls Tennis Team State Championships.
The 16-team tournaments will each feature a single-elimination bracket. The higher-seeded team will host the individual dual matches through the semifinals, with the final two teams in each classification advancing to the finals site - Denver Tennis Park - on Tuesday, May 12.
The first round matches will be played this Wednesday with the second round set for this Friday. The semifinal round will be played on Tuesday, May 5, followed by the finals at Denver Tennis Park on Tuesday, May 12.
All matches will consist of a full two-out-of-three tiebreak sets with a third set being played when the first two sets are split.
For the championship only, those matches will be played to clinch, so the first team to secure four positional wins will claim the title. The remaining, unfinished matches, will not be finished. The 5A Championship will begin at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 4A championship at 11:30 a.m. and the 3A title match at 2:30 p.m. An awards presentation will take place immediately at the conclusion of each classification with all teams being guaranteed a 45-minute warm-up prior to introductions.
