Ice Hockey State Tournament Brackets Revealed

AURORA — The Colorado High School Activities Association has announced the brackets for the 4A and 5A Ice Hockey State Tournaments.

League champions automatically qualified for each bracket. From there, the remainder of each bracket is filled out using the final data from the CHSAA Seeding & Selection Index. That data also seeds the fields.

The Class 4A bracket is a 10-team field, while 5A is a 12-team field.

The two tournaments will begin with the first-round games next Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 19-21. The 4A quarterfinal games will be played at home sites, while the 5A quarterfinals games will be played at the South Suburban Sports Complex on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 25-26, with the semifinals set for Saturday, Feb. 28 at Colorado College's Ed Robson Arena. The 4A and 5A Championship Games will be Monday, March 2 at University of Denver's Magness Arena. The 4A game will be at 5 p.m., followed by the 5A championship at 7:30 p.m.
