AURORA - The state ice hockey tournaments brackets will be seeded and released on Monday by the Colorado State High School Activities Association (CHSAA) office.
The tournaments will begin with the first-round games next Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 19-21. The 4A quarterfinal games will be played at home sites, while the 5A quarterfinals games will be played at the South Suburban Sports Complex on Tuesday and Wednesday, Feb. 25-26, with the semifinals set for Saturday, Feb. 28 at Colorado College's Ed Robson Arena. The 4A and 5A Championship Games will be Monday, March 2 at University of Denver's Magness Arena. The 4A game will be at 5 p.m., followed by the 5A championship at 7:30 p.m.
Teams will be seeded using the CHSAA Seeding Index. The official rankings are updated hourly with the latest RPI data, and each Monday and Thursday with MaxPreps data. (Find answers to FAQs about the Seeding Index here).
