AURORA - With a new brand identity rolling out throughout the 2025-26 school year, the Colorado High School Activities Association is excited to share renderings of its new floor to be used exclusively for its championship events at the Denver Coliseum.
The floor, which is sponsored by Sport Court of the Rockies, was designed in collaboration with the Denver Coliseum, Sport Court of the Rockies and CHSAA. The design features CHSAA's new branding elements, including its new logo, colors, fonts and icons from the new brand.
"We'd like to thank Sport Court of the Rockies and the Denver Coliseum for allowing this dream to become a reality," CHSAA Commissioner Mike Krueger said. "This new floor design helps us brand our championships that are hosted at the Denver Coliseum as CHSAA events. It also aids in elevating the atmosphere in which our member schools can compete for a state championship."
The design features CHSAA's primary color of navy blue, with the Denver Coliseum spelled out on one endline and Colorado on the other. One of CHSAA's new primary logos, a CHSAA wordmark with three stars, is prominently displayed at the center with the new CHSAA shield at each of the basketball court's free throw lines. Along the bottom of the floor are the distinctive mountains that represent the state of Colorado from the shield logo.
In addition, the Sport Court of the Rockies logo will also be included at both the top and bottom of the floor, along the sidelines.
"As a company committed to providing championship quality products and services, we are stoked to be able to do this for some of Colorado's best athletes," said Sport Court of the Rockies' Liz Schwebach, Account Manager. "Stay tuned for when the best in the state will compete on this iconic floor, as this is where champions will be crowned."
The floor, which will primarily be used for the CHSAA spirit and boys and girls basketball state championships, will officially be unveiled this December for the 2025 Spirit State Championships.
