DENVER - All six of the Colorado High School Activities Association's state champions were crowned Saturday on the final day of the 2025 Girls Basketball State Championship Tournaments.
Two teams won their first-ever state champion in girls basketball, while the other four won titles for at least the fifth time. For University (4A) and Resurrection Christian (3A), the championships were their first. Meanwhile, 6A champion Grandview won its fifth (and third in four years), 2A winner Merino made it back-to-back titles while winning for the fifth time, and 1A champion McClave won its fifth title (its first since 2009). Finally, 5A champion Mullen won its eighth title, four of which have come in the last seven seasons.
Resurrection Christian and McClave won state championships in both boys and girls basketball.
