CHSAA Esports Shoutcaster Opportunity

AURORA - The Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) is looking for Esports Shoutcasters for its upcoming State Championships on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at Localhost in Lakewood.

CHSAA oversees education-based activities and athletics for high schools across Colorado. Our mission is to foster participation that builds character, promotes leadership, and unites communities. Through esports and other activities, CHSAA supports students in developing teamwork, communication, and sportsmanship - skills that go far beyond the game.

What Is Shoutcasting?
Shoutcasting is live commentary for competitive video games, much like sports broadcasting for football or basketball.

There are two main roles:
  • Play-by-Play Caster – Describes the action as it happens, keeping the energy high and the audience engaged.
  • Color Caster – Provides analysis, strategy insights, and storytelling that add depth and excitement to the match.
A great shoutcaster makes esports fun, understandable, and thrilling for both new viewers and experienced fans!
