The Colorado High School Activities Association’s 2024 Girls and Boys Track and Field State Championships will be held Thursday though Saturday, May 16-18, at Jefferson County Stadium in Lakewood.
Individual champions will be crowned throughout the three days in both track and field events with all 10 team champions being awarded at the conclusion of competition on Saturday.

Do I need a ticket to enter?
Yes.
All tickets must be purchased online via GoFan, as no cash will be accepted on site.

Where can I park?
Spectator parking will be at no cost, and it will be located in the two west lots and the northwest/northeast lots. For RV parking, call Ezra Paddock (the Jeffco stadium Director) at 720-331-7289.
Where can I drop off my athlete that’s competing?
Athlete drop-off will be permitted along the east drive behind the stadium.
If I can’t make it to the event, can I watch online?
Yes.

How is the meet scored?
The top-nine finishers will score for their team in each event, including relays. Scoring will be 10 points for first place, 8 for second, 7 for third, and then 6-5-4-3-2-1 for fourth through ninth, respectively.
Will there be an award ceremony?
Yes. Individual medals will be awarded to the top-nine finishers for all events in all classifications at the conclusion of the finals for that event. Athletes will be escorted from the finish line/competition site to the awards area. Athletes will not be released until the awards ceremony is complete.
A team trophy will be awarded to the first and second place teams in each classification following the conclusion of the competition on Saturday.

Can I come down to the field to get a photo of my child?
No. Only participating competitors, credentialed media and meet officials will be allowed on the infield and/or award areas. The track, the entire infield, and staging areas are restricted areas. All field coaches must remain outside the track in the coach’s boxes.
The meet referee has authority to assess penalties against non-credentialed personnel in the restricted area. Once the meet starts, NO coaches, fans or spectators are allowed in the infield.
Where can I find photos of athletes competing?
Wallace Photography will be on site to provide action and award photos through all three days. These pictures will be available for sale on site. Inquiries regarding picture orders can be made via phone (775-230-4320) or by

No non-credentialed photographers will be allowed on the field or awards area (i.e. – parents, coaches, fans, etc.).
Will there be merchandise to purchase on site?

Where can I find a meeting program?
There will not be a physical copy of the program available on site at the state meet. All championship programs are digital.
