AURORA - The Colorado High School Activities Association's 2024 Girls Golf State Championships will take place on Monday and Tuesday, May 20-21.
With three classifications in golf, the championships will be hosted across three different sites:
- Class 5A: The Broadlands, in Broomfield
- Class 4A: Country Club of Colorado, in Colorado Springs
- Class 3A: The Olde Course, in Loveland
Where can I find results?
- Live results for both rounds and all three classifications can be found on iWanamaker.com. A playoff subscription will be required to access the hole-by-hole results.
- At the end of each day, final results will be available on CHSAANow.com.
What time will the course open?
- The courses open one hour before the first scheduled tee time on both Saturday and Sunday.
Do I need to buy a ticket to enter?
- There are no tickets needed to attend the state golf championships.
How do we know who is paired together?
- Pairings will be announced once the qualifiers are determined, following the conclusion of the regional championships.
When will play start?
- For 5A, teams will tee off at 7:30 from tees No. 1 and No. 10.
- For 4A, teams will tee off at 8:30 from tees No. 1 and No. 10.
- For 3A, teams will tee off at 7:30 from Tees No. 1 and No. 10.
How do we know what a certain player’s tee time is?
- Golfers will play in threesomes and will be spaced at nine-minute intervals from both starting tees. The first groups will start at the tee times listed above. The exact starting and tee times will be distributed when qualifiers are known.
What is the format of play?
- The tournament will be a 36-hole, two-day stroke-play tournament to determine the individual champion. The team champion will be decided by the top-three team scorers.
- The first 18 holes will be played on Monday, with the final 18 holes played on Tuesday.
Will there be a trophy presentation?
- Individual and team presentations will take place immediately after the committee has checked all results. The first and second place team will be awarded plaques, with the top-10 finishers earning medals.
What happens in the case of a tie?
- Only first and second place ties will be determined through a hole-by-hole playoff. All other ties will remain tied.

What happens in the case of rain, or bad weather?
- The tournament committee will determine suspension of play and USGA rules will prevail. Any modifications made to the event will be posted on CHSAANow.com. You can also follow @CHSAA on Twitter/X for the most up-to-date information.
