AURORA - The Colorado High School Activities Association announced today the teams and individuals who have advanced to compete in the 2024 Gymnatics State Championships. 

The three-day state meet will be take place this Thursday though Saturday at Thornton High School. Thursday's events will feature the 5A team and individual all-around competition, in addition to the individual event preliminaries for Saturday's 5A individual championships. Friday's event will feature the 4A team and individual all-around competition, in addition to the individual event preliminaries for Saturday's 4A individual championships. 

Team trophies will be awarded to the champion and runner-up following Thursday and Friday's competition, while the individual all-around winner will also be awarded those evenings. On Saturday, individual medalists will be awarded for the four individual event finals; bars beam, floor and vault.

Thursday (5A)/Friday (4A) Schedule
1:30 p.m. - Registration/check-in
1:45 p.m. - Coaches meeting
2 p.m. - Judges meeting
2:30 p.m. - Scorekeepers & timers meeting
2:10-2:50 p.m. - Open gym
2:50 p.m. - Opening Ceremonies (introduction of teams, presentation of colors)
3 p.m. - First timed warm-up (8 minutes)
3:10 p.m. - Competition Begins
*Team and Individual All-Around Champions to be presented with awards at completion of events

Saturday (4A & 5A) Schedule
Noon - 12:15 - Open warm-up
12:15 - 12:45 p.m. - First two events warm-up
12:45 - 1:15 p.m. - Last two events warm-up
1:30 p.m. - March in and competition begins
*Individual Event Champions to be presented with awards at completion of events
