Rashaan Davis joined CHSAA as an Assistant Commissioner in April 2021. He oversees Esports, Music, Speech and Debate, and Student Leadership.
Prior to coming to CHSAA, he spent 24 years working as a classroom teacher and campus administrator. In his role as a teacher (Social Studies and Leadership), he worked to provide the very best education for each student, while helping them to find their voice. Major highlights of his career include hosting the national student leadership conference at Highlands Ranch High School (2009) and at Eaglecrest High School (2020).
As an administrator, Rashaan worked to help teachers help students in ways that they previously had not thought about. His desire to make every classroom a space for opportunity and every building a center for equal access led to this opportunity to add value to the experiences of all high school students who participate in cocurricular and extracurricular activities.
At the national level, Rashaan has been asked to speak at leadership conferences and summits on a wide range of leadership topics.
When he is not working, Rashaan enjoys running in local road races, watching sports, and spending time with his two sons.
