DENVER - All six of the Colorado High School Activities Association's state champions were crowned Saturday on the final day of the 2026 Girls Basketball State Championship Tournaments.
There was one first-time champion on the girls side, as Salida captured the 3A title, while McClave (1A), Simla (2A) and Lutheran (5A) all swept the boys and girls championships. Highlands Ranch (6A) won its eighth overall state title and Holy Family (4A) claimed its first state championship since 2023. These were the first state championships for both Highlands Ranch and Simla since 2011, while it's the second-straight for McClave.
