CHSAA to Host Two Small and Rural School Symposiums

AURORA - To better understand the unique needs of the small and rural schools within its membership, the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) will be hosting two Small and Rural School Symposiums this fall.

The events are free to attend and are open to all Superintendents, Principals and Athletic/Activity Directors throughout Colorado.

The first symposium will be at Ralph Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction on Thursday, Oct. 23 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The second will be in Colorado Springs on Tuesday, Nov. 18, with site and time still to be determined.

All attendees must register in advance, by with the registration deadline Oct. 16 for the event in Grand Junction and Nov. 12 for the Colorado Springs symposium.

These events are dedicated to fostering collaboration and addressing the unique challenges and opportunities within the small and rural school communities throughout Colorado. These symposiums will bring leaders together for insightful discussions, networking and problem-solving.

In addition to large- and small-group discussions, and a Q&A session with CHSAA leadership, participants will be able to engage with fellow leaders in similar communities, share best practices and contribute to the development strategies that will benefit CHSAA member schools and students.

If there is a topic that should be discussed at the symposium, there is an option on the registration form to share those ideas.
