AURORA -- The Colorado High School Activities Association has released its preseason coaches' polls for gymnastics.
Defending 4A state champion Niwot has been picked to repeat as champion, while defending 5A champion Mountain Range has been picked second in its classification behind Overland, last year's runner-up.
The gymnastics regular season is scheduled to start Thursday. The end of the regular season is Oct. 18, with regionals set for Oct. 30 through Nov. 1. The state championships are Nov. 6 through 8 at Thornton High School.
