Ice Hockey: Steamboat Springs, Valor Christian Win State Titles

DENVER - The Colorado High School Activities Association's 2025 Ice Hockey State Champions were crowned on Monday at the University of Denver's Magness Arena. 

In the 4A state championship, Steamboat Springs won its first-ever ice hockey state title with a 4-2 win over Glenwood Springs. It was Steamboat Springs' first-ever state championship game in ice hockey.

Following the 4A title game, Valor Christian and Poudre School District battled it out for 5A supremacy, with Valor Christian emerging victorious, 7-4. The win marks the fourth ice hockey state title for the Eagles in the last six years.
