AURORA - The Colorado High School Activities Association has announced the Round of 32 brackets for the 3A, 4A and 5A Softball State Championships.

Each of the three classifications will host eight four-team regional tournaments this Friday and/or Saturday. In 3A, the Round of 32 will be a single-elimination tournament with the regional champion and runner-up qualifying for the state bracket. In 4A and 5A, the Round of 32 will be a modified double-elimination tournament with the undefeated regional champion and the winner of the consolation bracket advancing to the state bracket. 
 

Class 5A Brackets

Teams qualified for the postseason through their regular season performance. Each league champion automatically qualified for the state tournament, and the other spots were determined by the CHSAA Selection & Seeding Index, with the consideration that two teams within the same league couldn't match up in the first round.

In the 4A and 5A brackets, two teams were flipped to avoid league matchups. In 4A, Eagle Valley went to No. 27 and Silver Creek to No. 26, and in 5A, Fossil Ridge went to No. 18 and Castle View to No. 19.
