Columbine is set up well to repeat, despite losing first-team All-State pitcher Araya Ogden, as they have two returning second-team All-State sophomores (Livi Keiter and Nina Vargas) ready to take her place. Meanwhile, Douglas County graduated three members of last year’s All-State team, without clear replacements established on the roster.

Lutheran can’t rest easy though, as their state-title opponent, Holy Family, is bringing back all of their All-State athletes and honorable mentions and has already beaten Lutheran 11-5 this season.
