Recognized as one of Colorado’s all-time greatest football coaches, Lloyd Gaskill compiled a 236-52-8 coaching record which included a string of 42 straight wins. His single-wing teams earned a berth in the playoffs in 20 of his 29 years at LHS. Ten of those teams went undefeated and 14 played for the state championship. He is a member of the National High School Hall of Fame
