Allen Hower

For over 30 years, Al Hower was a cornerstone in the Association. He was a coach and AD at three different high schools and also served on numerous CHSAA committees, Board of Control and Executive Committee. He was the host for the first Colorado girls’ volleyball state championships and was a member of the Colorado High School Coaches Association, Colorado Athletic Directors Association and NIAAA. He served as CADA president and was AD of the Year in 1986
