Barry Helton
Simla
One of the truly legendary athletes in Colorado and a great representative of the state's small school athletes, Barry Helton was a four-year letter winner in football, basketball and baseball at Simla High School from 1979-1982. Helton led his Simla football teams to a 39-3 record and three state titles, his basketball team to a 72-15 mark, leading the state in scoring as a sophomore, and to a 32-13 mark in baseball. He earned All-State honors in each sport
